Bayern Munich thrashed amateur club FC Rottach-Egern 23-0 in a pre-season friendly on Thursday.

The German giants were in ruthless form, scoring 12 goals in the first half and 11 more in the second.

Lucas Hernandez, who joined Bayern from Atletico Madrid in the summer, made an impressive debut, scoring two goals and setting up another.

Other goalscorers for Bayern included Robert Lewandowski (4), Thomas Müller (3), Serge Gnabry (3), Kingsley Coman (2), Joshua Kimmich, Leon Goretzka, and Philippe Coutinho.

Rottach-Egern, who play in the ninth tier of German football, were outclassed from start to finish.

Bayern Munich are now preparing for their Bundesliga opener against Hertha Berlin on August 16.
