Green Bay Packers Sign Former Philadelphia Eagles Running Back Tucker Kraft

Packers Add Depth to Backfield

The Green Bay Packers have signed former Philadelphia Eagles running back Tucker Kraft to a one-year contract, the team announced on Tuesday. Kraft was waived by the Eagles on Monday after spending the past two seasons with the team.

Kraft, 25, rushed for 36 yards on 12 carries in three games for the Eagles last season. He also caught four passes for 58 yards.

Kraft Expected to Compete for Backup Role

Kraft is expected to compete for a backup role behind Aaron Jones and AJ Dillon. The Packers also have Kylin Hill and Patrick Taylor on their roster.

Kraft was a standout at North Dakota State, where he rushed for 2,298 yards and 33 touchdowns in his final two seasons. He was also named the FCS Offensive Player of the Year in 2020.
