Noel was considered one of the top recruits in the nation and committed to play college basketball for the University of Kentucky.

College Career

Noel had a successful freshman season at Kentucky, averaging 10.5 points, 9.5 rebounds, and 4.4 blocks per game. He was named to the SEC All-Freshman Team and the NABC All-District 11 Team. However, Noel's season was cut short due to a torn ACL, which required surgery.

Noel made his NBA debut in the 2014-15 season and quickly established himself as a defensive force, averaging 1.8 blocks per game.

Noel played for the 76ers for three seasons before being traded to the Dallas Mavericks in 2017. He spent two seasons in Dallas before signing with the Oklahoma City Thunder in 2019. Noel was traded to the Brooklyn Nets in 2020, where he played for one season before becoming a free agent.
